My client is is one of the world’s largest solar module producers. As a leading vertically integrated provider of ingots, wafers, solar cells, solar modules, solar power systems and specialized solar products, Canadian Solar delivers uncompromising value to its customers across the globe. of the world’s largets solar module producers. They are a leading vertically integrated provider of ingots, wafers, solar cells, solar modules, solar power systems and specialized PV products. They are expanding their sales team across Germany and as such are looking to recruit a sales mangers for the   south, west and northeast regions of Germany.


Core Criteria:
My client is
looking to recruit three sales managers to oversee their sales operations across the south, west and northeast regions of Germany. The sales managers will be responsible for driving sales in the German PV market.  

Responsibilities:-

  • ·         Manages customer accounts in line with business strategy and marketing plan
  • ·         Manages and expands existing accounts and develops new accounts in order to sell company’s products
  • ·         Locates account’s decision makers and builds stable sales relationship
  • ·         Solves all commercial, technical and/or financial objections of the account
  • ·         Gathers, documents and analyses detailed account information
  • ·         Defines opportunities and sales proposals
  • ·         Analyses input from Sales Planning and Credit Management and revises offers accordingly
  • ·         Negotiates price, volume, contract terms and conditions with customer
  • ·         Closes deals and coordinates contracting
  • ·         Liaises with Order Fulfillment for product delivery, AR Management for collection and Sales Tech for customer care
  • ·         Ensures high customer satisfaction at all times
  • ·         Represents the company’s brand in front of sales accounts
  • ·         Creates awareness and demand for company products
  • ·         Ensures compliance with internal processes and policies and external regulation at all times
  • ·         Documents sales process and ensures high data accuracy
  • ·         Manages company risks involved in sales process

Education:-

  • ·         Bachelor’s degree in business administration, engineering or comparable (Master’s degree a plus)

Core Requirements:-

  • ·         Three or more years of experience in technical products sales (Photovoltaics, renewables, semi conductor or emerging technologies preferred)
  • ·         Result-driven approach and ability to work autonomously
  • ·         Proactive attitude, high initiative to take on challenges and excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • ·         High reliability and ability to work under pressure
  • ·         Excellent teamwork, communication and intercultural skills

General Requirements:-

  • Ability to travel
  • ·         Proficient with making impactful presentations
  • ·         Ability to manage multiple projects in an environment of constantly changing priorities
  • Ability to work independently but within tightly controlled business policies

Key Skills:-

  • Solar PV, negotiations experience, fluency in German and English, sales experience, solar product (wafers, ingots, modules and/or inveters) and sales experience
