Solar PV Project Developer, Southeast England

Solar PV project developer is required in Southeast of England on a permanent basis.

My client is a vastly expanding solar PV project developer. They are currently working on commercial and residential projects – both rooftop and ground based across the UK. This is a brilliant opportunity to join an established yet continually growing business.

CORE CRIETRIA

My client is actively looking for an experienced project developer with a proven track record in developing commercial and residential projects across the UK market. Experience gained predominately working on on-grid projects with some exposure to off-grid projects is preferred.

Responsibilities:

• Create and manage bespoke solar PV projects – working with clients to establish particular requirements
• Identify potential projects and manage
• Oversee the development of all projects through all stages of the projects and work with a team of highly qualified engineers to ensure that projects are development to client specifications
• Coordinate the engineering and technical support teams across all projects to ensure efficiency and cost effectiveness
• Oversee all large scale commercial negotiations for new projects.

Requirements:

• 4+ years in solar PV project development
• Electrical engineering or related field degree
• Understanding of UK solar policies, incentives and market
• Technically minded and highly capable project manager
• Ambition and drive to succeed
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
