Solar PV Power Plant Sales Manager, San Diego, USA. $120K-$150K+Bonus+commission($250kOTE)
My client is amongst the leading renewable energy providers globally and have a very strong business plan and balance sheet. They specialize in providing utility-scale concentrated PV(CPV,CSP) power plants with a strong market presence in Europe and the USA. As the US market is a key market they are looking to recruit a regional sales manager to oversee the sales of their power plants in the US.
Core Criteria: My client is seeking a Regional Sales Manager who has a strong technical and commercial background with a strong track record in solar PV power plant sales.
Responsibilities:-
- Responsible for overseeing acquisitions, development, and sales CPV/CSP power plants in the US through Power Purchase Agreements(PPA’s)
- Negotiating terms and closing deals
- Ensure all deals meet revenue and margin expectations
- Develop and manage a pipeline that supports the company’s growth strategy in CPV/CSP power plant sales
- Manage projects by setting priorities and expectations, problem solving, communicating ongoing status updates
- Develop and manage all key accounts
- Responsible for generating market awareness in the United States
- Working with and overseeing the development, sales and project finance teams
- Planning and organizing of projects
- Generating leads and arrange client visits with a view to pitching solar projects and generating new business
Requirements:-
- You will have at least 3-5 years of business development and sales experience in the solar industry, with an excellent track record in comercial, utility-scales project or power plant sales
- Ability to travel frequently to client sites
- Must have strong educational background (MBA would be desirable)
- Must have experience in proposal writing and execution of sale to contract award
- Proficient with making impactful presentations
- Proven ability to communicate across all levels of an organization
- Ability to work under deadline pressure and deliver high quality results
- Proven track record in solar business development and growth
- Good understanding of regulatory requirements in the solar industry
- Ability to manage multiple projects in an environment of constantly changing priorities
- Ability to work independently but within tightly controlled business policies
