My client is a fast growing UK residential solar PV company, they are currently performing solar PV installations across the nation. They offer competitive rates and excellent incentives in order to encourage the UK public to become part of the green revolution in the UK.
Position Overview:
To oversee and implement of residential panel installation programme in conjunction with our chosen sub contractor. You will report directly to the Managing Director in a solar PV company with massive growth prospects.
Responsibilities:
- Establish linkage with my client and the sub contractor to ensure all installation and operational issues/ customer complaints are dealt with on a timely basis
- · To manage the maintenance and repair programme and planned Inverter replacement programme
- To monitor the performance of sub contractors as compared with the SLA Benchmarks.

- To set up payment procedures to ensure the timely payment of agreed and correctly documented installations.
- You will work on the installation of residential solar systems across the UK
- · Manage a rapidly expanding team and report directly to the Managing director in the management of a network of local installers
- You will carry out the initial training and following through with the technical quality and customer service standards
- Oversee minor repairs/upgrades and full rewires
- Fitting rails/feet and solar panels to clients roofs
- You will work closely with subcontractors and develop loyalty to the client within the network of installers
- Negotiate and evaluate bid packages and sub-contract agreements
Education:
Strong educational background in Engineering (MSc preferred)
Core Requirements:
- · 4-5 years of experience in a managerial role with a strong background in the technical side of building and electrical systems
- · A proven track record within the solar PV sector
- Ability to analyze and solve complex problems and detect realistic solutions
- Excellent problem solving skills
- You will have the technical qualifications required by UK law
General Requirements:
- Ability to travel with the UK
- Ability to communicate across all levels of an organization
- Ability to work under deadline pressure and deliver high quality results
- Excellent presentation
Key skills:
Renewable energy, strong installation experience with small and large-scale PV installations exceptional management skills
