Description

My client is a large manufacturer and distributer of high performance solar PV (photovoltaic) solar cells and modules. They are looking for an experienced photovoltaic module technology engineer who will be able to make noticeable contributions in the advancement of their existing technologies. This is an integral position within the company as the technology that will be implemented here on the pilot lines will be transferred to the global solar manufacturing plants for mass production.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Will be responsible for the improvement of solar module production processes with the aim of increasing yield and performance
  • Conduct and refine experiments to improve my clients patented photovoltaic technology
  • Innovate and implement new production processes and materials to produce high efficiency, low cost PV modules
  • Provide support for the transfer of photovoltaic module processed and technology from the pilot lines in the Netherlands to other plants worldwide
  • Implement the results of the R&D department into the production line and evaluate and report the achieved results

 

Requirements:

  • Must have a minimum of a BSc in Physics, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related field
  • Must have at least 3-4years industrial experience in dealing with the development of solar PV modules
  • Will have experience using tools such as SPC, 8D or 6 Sigma
  • Must be fluent in Dutch or German in addition to English
  • Be passionate about pioneering new PV module technology and growing the business
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to coordinate multiple tasks is essential
  • Must be goal driven and have a proven track record in achieving targets
