Description

My Client is a leading project development company for clean energy projects in the USA. They specialize in developing, operating and investing in renewable energy projects, with a focus on large-scale solar projects. They are now looking to recruit a director level solar PV sales candidate to oversee sales and further develop their commercial solar projects business in North America.

 

 

Responsibilities:-

 

  • Negotiating terms and closing deals
  • Working with and overseeing the development, sales and project finance teams
  • Planning and organizing of projects
  • Generating leads and arrange client visits with a view to pitching solar projects and generating new business
  • Lead solar system proposal preparation including pricing strategies
  • Ensure all deals meet revenue and margin expectations
  • Develop and manage a pipeline that supports the company’s growth strategy in commercial/utility project sales
  • Manage projects by setting priorities and expectations, problem solving, communicating ongoing status updates
  • Develop and manage all key accounts

 

Requirements:-

 

  • You will have at least 3-5 years of business development & sales experience, with an excellent track record of commercial/utility solar sales
  • Ability to travel frequently to meet client
  • Must have strong educational background
  • Must have experience in solar system proposal writing and execution of sale to contract award
  • Ability to work under deadline pressure and deliver high quality results
  • Proven track record in solar business development and growth
  • Good understanding of regulatory requirements in the US solar industry
  • Ability to manage multiple projects
