Solar Photovoltaic (PV) Residential Sales Manager, Arizona, (AZ), USA

My client is one of USA’s up and coming photovoltaic (PV) installers and in recent years have built up a strong track record in the Solar PV industry providing solar electric systems for their  commercial and residential customers. They are now looking to recruit a Residential sales manager to join their team in Phoenix (AZ).

Responsibilities:-

• Establish both market and target customer strategies for the market
• Lead a 10 man sales team
• Recruit, manage, train and motivate direct reporting staff according to company procedures, policy and employment law.  Offer them the coaching, counseling, advice, support, motivation or information they need in order to help them meet their sales objectives
• Manage sales and marketing resources to achieve agreed upon budgets
• Monitor actual sales results versus budgetary forecasts monthly. Manage relevant reporting of management and financial information for the sales and marketing departments
• Handle complaints from customers or others stemming from actions in the Sales & Marketing Department

Requirements:-

• At least 3-5 years of sales experience (solar photovoltaic (PV) integrator industry desired)
• Good knowledge of the solar photovoltaic (PV)  market and industry trends
• Be computer literate and use sales database tracking programs
• Strong negotiating skills and capacity
• Proven leadership ability
• Minimum B.S. or B.A. in a Business or Engineering discipline M.B.A. preferred, other postgraduate work desirable
