Solar Photovoltaic (PV) Project Engineer, Germany

My client is a globally renowned solar photovoltaic (PV)  project developer who provide on-grid and off-grid residential, commercial, industrial and utility scale applications around the world. They have subsidiaries across Europe. They are now looking to deliver a number of large projects in Italy and Eastern Europe and are looking for an experienced individual to join of their team of project engineers.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the origination and development of international large scale solar photovoltaic (PV) projects up to financial close
• Identify and assess project opportunities
• Conduct market analysis and feasibility and risk assessment studies on a daily basis
• Will be working on multiple projects simultaneously to strict deadlines and to above satisfactory standards
• Assessing profitability of projects and successful development including the preparation of land for construction
• Identification of project sites, land procurement, licensing
• Project negotiations (with diverse project partners like local developers, IPPs or utilities)
• Develop and set up local strategic partnerships with utilities, project developers, IPPs

Requirements:

• Minimum 3-7 years experience, with a proven track record in the development of solar photovoltaic (PV) projects
• Degree in environmental planning, civil engineering, engineering or equivalent qualification of relevance
• Excellent communications skills
• Excellent commercial experience
• Good oral and written communications skills  
• Project and time management skills

• Must have excellent (spoken, written and reading) German language skills( Italian, French, English or Spanish beneficial)
