My client is a leading Solar PV company, involved in the design, manufacturing, marketing, financing and sales of photovoltaic solar panels, as well as the delivery of large-scale turn-key solar systems.
Position Overview: The LCP sales manager will be responsible for the sales management phase of a PV project, taking care of the relationship with the customer, from bid to hand over phase, with a main focus on the development and signature of framework contracts, EPC and O&M contracts and being the main interlocutor with the customer until the final commissioning of the PV plant.
Responsibilities:-
- · Proactively sourcing new potential business that can deliver a profitable growth business
- · Identification of opportunities that can add value and differentiate the offer, in order to maintain a leadership position in the market
- · Provide high profile support to potential or existing customers and follow up opportunities until contract negotiation and signature
- · Provide commercial quotations
- · Development of Financial Memorandums for new opportunities or business models
- · Support the provision of monthly forecasts of product requirements, invoicing, cash and revenue recognition
- · Management of the information flow to the customer
- · Issuance of invoices
- · Cash collection
Education:-
- · Undergraduate degree in related field of study
Core Requirements:-
- · Dealing with customers and negotiating contract terms
- · Experience in the regulatory framework applicable to renewable energy plants, in particular to PV plants
- · Very strong technical background of PV Systems, including all electrical and mechanical aspects of these systems, both in ground-mounted and roof-mounted
- · Understanding of a renewable project life cycle: project development, sales management, project management, O&M management
- · Knowledge of the different financing schemes/options available in the market, and the economics involved in the different options
- · Strong knowledge of the Italian Law (Ministerial Decree – Conto energia)

- · Strong analytic skills and good understanding of financial modeling
- · Good communication skills.
- · Literate in all aspects of MS Office
Key Skills:-
- Solar PV, negotiations experience, good technical knowledge, sales experience, large-scale project sales experience and fluency in Italian & English
