Description

My client is a solar PV company that provides renewable energy solutions across Europe. They are a wholesaler and distributor of a number internationally recognised renewable products. They are a recognised company in the industry and have worked with a number of major players in the market.

Position Overview:

They are looking for a highly motivated individual with initiative who can demonstrate excellent communication skills and flair. As part of a small team, the candidate must be prepared to get involved with all aspects of the renewable business.

Responsibilities:

  • ·         Listening to customer requirements and presenting appropriately to make a sale, ensuring that all negotiation processes fit in with company requirements and outlines.
  • ·         You will work closely with key clients arranging meetings in order to establish key relationships in the market and develop and grow the business opportunities
  • ·         You will use your strong sales skills in order to close deals
  • ·         You will market map potential clients and opportunities that will establish pipelines for future sales
  • ·         As a key team member you will be a representative for the organisation at trade exhibitions, events and demonstrations
  • ·         Liaising directly with suppliers to check the progress of existing orders
  • ·         Ensure that deliveries and stock orders are correct
  • ·         Reviewing sales performance and meeting all sales targets set by the Managing director
  • ·         Dealing with administrative issues and data entry

Education

A relevant degree in either engineering or business management is a bonus

Core Requirements

  •          You will have a strong problem solving ability in order to deal with objections and encourage sales
  • ·         At least 4-5 years experience in a sales role
  • ·         Experience working in the renewable energy market with a particular focus on the solar industry
  • ·         Experience in developing and maintaining customer relationships
  • ·         Able and willing to travel throughout Europe
  • ·         Experience leading and training a sales team a bonus

General requirements

  •          Ability to communicate across all levels of an organization
  •          Ability to work under deadline pressure and deliver high quality results
  •          Strong presentation skills
  •          A desire to work in a target driven role

Key Skills:-

Solar PV sales experience, team leading, training and strong negotiation skills required
