Social Science/Sustainable Development/Livelihood in promoting community managed micro small coastal enterprises.

In coordination with the Philippines coast guards, Endangered Species International (ESI) is seeking an individual to be part of a workshop on illegal fishing/sustainable fishing/coral reef conservation/livelihood.  The workshop will be conducted at various key areas along coastal areas of Palawan Island, Philippines.  This position involves conducting presentations on sustainable development/small coastal enterprises and livelihood in order to stop illegal fishing and coral reef destruction. The selected individual will also provide technical and social advices to local comminutes during visits at each site.The length of this internship/volunteer opportunity is about 2-4 weeks: about 1-3 weeks for preparing the contents of the workshop on livelihood/sustainable development and about 1 week for conducting workshops at each selected sites with other speakers.This internship/volunteer experience is a great opportunity for those avid to develop and apply their knowledge and experience.  The individuals should be ambitious, creative, resourceful, and dedicated.
