We are seeking a qualified electrical or mechanical engineer or equivalent for the position as Site Manager for our Burbo Banks 90MW Offshore Wind Farm outside Liverpool Mercy Docks. The wind farm consists of 25 × 3.6MW wind turbines. Areas of responsibility Your work will comprise: Management of a small local team of technicians - Daily technical management and repair of electrical and mechanical components ie, substation, cables and wind turbines
- Management of Siemens Wind Turbine Service Contract
- Safety work both at a practical and a high level in collaboration with our Safety Advisor
- Planning of service and maintenance work with our technical team in Denmark.
You may be required to work flexible hours. Your profile You have a good, solid education and work experience in wind turbines or power stations. It is also essential that you can show a good track record of technical and management experience. Furthermore you must: - be prepared to enter into a scheduled training programme with a stay of approximately 3-9 months in our Danish headquarters and on a Danish offshore wind farm
- be able to go through training and education as a Senior Authorised Person in HV equipment
- be able and willing to work in offshore wind turbines and gain and maintain hands-on experience
- be prepared to be a team member.
