BirdLife International is the world’s largest nature conservation partnership. Through our unique local-to-global approach, we deliver high impact and long-term conservation for the benefit of nature and people.
We are seeking an experienced, highly motivated candidate for the role of Shorebird Flyways Coordinator based in Singapore.
The Coordinator’s role within the BirdLife Asia team in Singapore will be to ensure that the BirdLife Partnership and other partners are well supported and positioned in relation to the implementation of the BirdLife Global Flyways Programme by strengthening conservation of key sites and shorebird species on the East Asian Australasian flyway (in particular the Spoon-billed Sandpiper).
The Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating BirdLife’s efforts and supporting those of its partners, through fundraising, governmental relations, business engagement and communications, to protect key breeding, staging, and wintering sites for shorebirds along the flyway. These include Spoon-billed Sandpiper breeding sites in Russia, staging sites in the Yellow Sea, and wintering sites in the Gulf of Mottama.
The ideal candidate will have substantial work experience in the area of fundraising.
