The Service Business Development Manager will form and maintain key customer relationships; identifying their needs and selling existing and developing new service products as required. They will also negotiate contracts through to closure, minimise risk and establish the organisation’s commercial position to contribute the growth of REpower UK. Role responsibilities will include the creation of sales documentation for service products including service contracts, spare parts, upgrades/ retrofits, training products and tools; coordination of all accounting processes and activities in connection with the proactive sales including generation of quotations, and processing purchase orders and invoices.
Knowledge/Skills and Experience
- Strong commercial skills and demonstrable track record of success in securing new business contracts in service related products
- Engineering graduate or equivalent significant experience/professional development in the field of engineering (any discipline).
- First class negotiation skills and experience of successful negotiations leading to high value sales.
- A high level understanding of financial data, commercial contracts and legal requirements.
- Excellent networking skills and significant experience of high level customer interaction and satisfaction levels.
- Experience of working within an International organisation would be advantageous.
- Fluency, both spoken and written, in English is essential. Fluency in German would be advantageous.
