Senior Water Modeller/Engineer

Located just over the Sydney Harbour Bridge our client enjoys the benefits and ease of transport and parking!  With the opportunity to work on innovative and often high profile projects, they currently have a need for a Senior Water Engineer in their Networks Planning team.

In this role you will be:
•    Conducting site surveys
•    Field investigations
•    Feasibility studies for proposed projects
•    Manage the production of reports and tender documents
•    Manage specifications (for model builds/calibration, design and manage flow and pressure field monitoring programmes)
•    Maintain communication and develop ongoing contacts with clients as required
•    Organise tender documents
•    Assist in the evaluation of tenders and administration of contracts.

The ideal candidate will have a degree in Civil Engineering and be eligible for membership to the Institute of Engineers Australia, along with a minimum of 6 years professional experience in the consulting, operating or engineering industry. Experience in strategic planning and network hydraulic modeling of water supply and recycled water systems, including but not limited to Growth Strategies/Master Planning; Calibration/Verification of hydraulic models; Design - specification and management will be desirable. You will have strong communication and customer service skills be a team player but also be able to work unsupervised.
