About the opportunity

A fantastic opportunity to lead the Forestry Technical and Training teams, as Senior Technical Manager. You will be responsible for coordinating the technical and training services and support provided by Soil Association Certification to our network and external audiences at a global scale, and ensuring our Forestry accreditations are maintained. You'll be leading the team on development of Quality Management Systems for existing and new schemes, oversees digital innovation in the Forestry team, and developing relationships with key external stakeholders on strategic issues.

About you

You will have extensive experience of forest management, environmental management, or the timber industry, and an excellent knowledge of certification in the forestry sector (FSC® and PEFC™). You will have experience in forest certification as an Auditor, as well as experience of quality systems management and accreditation internationally.

Hours

37.5 hours per week

Full time with option for 4 days per week for the right candidate

Location

Home based, with regular working in Bristol and travel as required
