About the Role
The Senior Sustainability Manager is crucial to developing and embeding our sustainability strategy while setting the future direction of our approach. You will manage a central sustainability team and will be responsible for developing, implementing, monitoring and communicating our progress to a range of stakeholders through multiple channels in an engaging way while ensuring the highest standards of credibility.
The role requires a level of curiosity to bring the very best from the evolving external world into the business, forging partnerships, creating networks and being an advocate for the water industry along the way.

This is a high profile role with regular access to the most senior decision makers in the organisation and as such this role presents a real opportunity to have personal impact on how a FTSE100 company approaches Sustainability. You will develop the role and team in a supportive company that puts people development and culture at the very top of its agenda.
The skills and experience required to be successful include…
We are looking for a Senior Sustainability Manager with experience in leading the business through the development of their sustainability strategy whilst having an excellent understanding of key environmental and social issues impacting business today. You will influence and work with Executive and Board level Directors.

You will possess strong leadership skills to deliver sustainability vision driving positive and collaborative action with the Ability to motivate and lead others without direct authority. You will have a broad knowledge and a strategic perspective, anticipating future consequences and trends accurately with the ability to identify possibilities and opportunities to improve performance.
