Senior Sustainability Manager, New York

My client is a renewable energy firm looking to rapidly expand their sustainability sector. They are looking for an experienced individual to manage the growth of this new department. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the sustainability space and be able to develop complex yet rewarding strategies for large clients with a variety of sustainability requirements. My client is keen to look at candidates who have personal drive and determination to succeed to back up their wealth of knowledge and experience within the sustainability space. The role will be demanding but the benefits are many, you will become the department head once you have built up a successful team of sustainability consultants. The role will require you to be in constant contact with the managing director of the business to ensure that they are up to date with the development of the sector. A successful candidate will experience in building successful client relations and developing a strong and profitable client base.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• ·         Working in coordination with the managing director to develop a strategy to grow out the sector
• ·         Work closely with potential clients to sell my client’s current solutions and build long term solutions
• ·         Build a successful team of sustainability consultants who will grow the business using the strategy you have implemented
• ·         Canvassing prominent clients across the world to gain business and build up my clients contacts.

Requirements:

• ·         7 + Years in sustainability
• ·         Msc in renewable energy related degree
• ·         Ambitious and keen to grow business
• ·         Project development experience
• ·         Excellent written and oral communication skills
