Senior Specialist (wind turbine rotor design), Copenhagen, Denmark

My client is a leading Manufacturer with an outstanding reputation for excellence. They are responsible for the manufacturing of various high performance wind turbine components worldwide.

Position Overview

Reporting directly to the director of project management, the successful candidate will be responsible for heading a team of 20+ engineers in the research and design of rotor manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing a team of engineers and managing major decisions
• Leading rotor conceptual design
• Initial design of rotor diameter
• Consult rotor aerodynamic design
• Consult rotor structural design & analysis

Education:
Strong  PHD degree (Civil, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering )

Core Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years experience in the research & design of rotor manufacturing
• Highly organized and previous experience in project management within the wind sector
• Experience working on a scientific level within a university
• Technically advanced knowledge around aerodynamics

General Requirements

• Ability to communicate across all levels of an organization
• Strong management and leadership skills
• Experience on wind turbine  rotor design
