Senior Solar PV Project Manager. Arizona, USA. $95k-$135k+ Bonus

My client’s business is dedicated to solar project investment and development in North America. They focus on development of utility-scale ground-mounted solar projects and commercial rooftop systems. With the recent introduction of the new feed in tariff in Arizona creating new business opportunities they have successfully won a number of government contracts and are looking to recruit a senior project manager to join their team to oversee the execution of their projects.

Core Criteria:
My client has a very urgent need to fill a high-level sourcing position with a track record in sourcing the parts and units that make up the skid.

Responsibilities:-

• Supervise commercial and Utility Photovoltaic Installation
• Developing new business relationships and managed the relationships with existing business partners
• Liaise with relevant financial institutions

• Involved in day to day operation of multiple projects and crew management
• With the aid of technical assistants supervise all project development, financing, construction, and commercialization

• Manage and supervise all outsourced services and service providers such as legal, financial, and operational
• Site Survey, Rebate & Interconnect, System Design, Inspection, customer management and quotes
• Coordinated purchasing, permitting, and inspections
• Manage PV site construction and design devolvement

Education:-

• Must have strong engineering background (Msc preferred )

Core Requirements:-

• At least 3-5 years relevant work experience in the solar photovoltaic (PV)  industry with a proven track record in project management of utility/commercial-scale projects
• Excellent problem solving skills with a track record of developing solutions for utility-scale PV projects

General Requirements:-

• Ability to travel

• Ability to communicate across all levels of an organization

• NABCEP Certified Solar PV Installer

Key Skills:-

Solar PV, Engineering Background, commercial and utility-scale solar PV projects, Fluency in English, team leadership and complex stakeholder and customer management experience.
