Senior Solar PV Module Manager, The Netherlands

My client is a global manufacturer and distributer of high performance solar PV (photovoltaic) solar cells and modules. They are currently looking for a senior solar PV module manager to join their dynamic organisation who will take a pioneering role in the development of the company’s solar module technology and be involved in ultimately establishing the company as a global leader in solar PV module manufacturing.

Responsibilities:

• Maximise the efficiency of the photovoltaic modules being produced whilst reducing the number of steps and costs involved in the process
• Coach and train colleagues on PV module specific engineering methods and tools
• Support the R&D department in the development of the next line of module technology
• Ensure the constant optimization and development of the patented solar module production process
• Be actively involved in the technology transfer from the results obtained by the research and development division to mass production

Requirements:

• Must be educated to BSc or MSc level in electrical engineering, physics, mechanical engineering or related field
• Will have a minimum of 3 years hands on experience with photovoltaic module technology
• Must be goal driven and have a proven track record in achieving targets
• Be passionate about pioneering new PV module technology and growing the business
• Must be fluent in Dutch or German in addition to English
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to coordinate multiple tasks is essential
