Senior Solar Project Controller, Germany

My client is a leader in the growing renewable energy market globally and they plan and construct turn-key solutions for power plants, with subsidiaries spanning across Europe, USA and the pacific region. In order to meet their growth expectations are looking to recruit an experienced solar project controller to work out of their headquarters  in Germany.    

Responsibilities:-

• Working alongside the project teams working on projects in Germany and internationally
• Supervise the project team members ( engineers, project managers, project developers etc) on cost price, cash flow forecasts and risk reporting
• Liaising with various departments such as IT, Procurement, Engineering, Legal and Project Finance on process improvements
• Calculating accurate predictions for project results
• Assume full responsibility for project reporting process and filing process and ensure correct procedures are met and taking necessary action if this is not the case
• Identify resource issues and create options to resolve these, always keeping in mind how to optimize profit and loss

Requirements:-

• At least 4-7 years experience, with a proven track record in project controlling
• Must speak English and German (Spanish, French or Italian desirable)

• Strong analytical, leadership and communication skills
• IT competent
• Must have strong educational background (MBA would be desirable)
• Experience in implementing Enterprise resource planning(ERP)
