Senior Site Manager (m/w) Offshore
Responsibilities:
- Organisation, coordination and observation of the construction progress of an Offshore Wind Farm, partly on-site
- Contribute to the technical preparation of method statements, safety work concepts and deployment of sub-contractors
- Control of work during installation of Offshore Wind Farm Projects
- Lead a team and coordinate with other internal interfaces e.g. Purchasing, Logistics, Research and Development, Service and Clients
- Control safety at work
- Plan resource allocation for projects, as well as determining and monitoring budgets
- Responsible for the execution and achievement of project specific targets and milestones
- Management of own subprojects
Profile:
- Degree in Engineering, majoring in structural or mechanical Engineering or similar
- Minimum of 5 years work experience, preferably in maritime industry, and/ or Offshore sector and/ or wind energy
- Experienced in management and execution of construction sites mandatory
- Leadership experience
- Good command of English at negotiating level
- High level of proficiency in MS-Office, MS-Project, SAP, etc.
- Technical and business acumen as well as planning and organisational skills
- Demonstrable communication and negotiation skills, together with assertiveness
- Reliability, conscientiousness, initiative and ability to assume responsibility
- High degree of flexibility, loyalty and team spirit
- Appreciation of the dynamic nature of the offshore wind power market and the associated changes that may be required at a corporate level
- Willingness to travel in Germany and abroad
- Ability to work at heights and offshore (extended level G 41)
