Description

npower renewables is one of the UK’s leading energy developers and operators and it is the UK subsidiary of specialist energy company RWE Innogy. Our expanding and diversifying Technology Team enjoys involvement with renewables projects from conception to ongoing commercial operation. These activities  include wind resource monitoring, noise monitoring, wind climate assessment, energy capture analysis, layout analysis and wind turbine performance tracking.

As a Senior Renewables Technical Analyst you will have an excellent opportunity to directly provide and coordinate the team’s services to our Northern and/or Scottish development teams. You will be closely involved with projects - working with wind farm design, advising upon site conditions and undertaking resource assessment – overall, providing experienced analytical support. As a practiced and independent wind expert, you will manage work streams whilst enjoying support from a hands-on, team-orientated approach to this area of renewable energy production.

Naturally, you will have demonstrable statistical, data processing and manipulation expertise, together with excellent analytical problem solving capabilities. You’ll be able to communicate complex information to others effectively, and you should have sound people and reporting skills. Experience of industry standard software such as WAsP, WindFarmer or alternatively CFD competencies, is essential.

Npower renewables is strongly committed to its principles of Diversity & Inclusion and we welcome applications from people of all backgrounds.
