Senior Project Manager, Northern UK

My client is a leading developer of offshore and onshore wind farms based in the UK. They are currently looking to fill key roles  within their company. They see a senior project manager with a proven track record and experienced in wind farm.

Key responsibilities

• ·         This role will require technical and project management support in on and off shore wind farm projects.
• ·         Managing of a  large team of engineers and technical support across a variety of projects
• ·         Reporting to the senior management in a timely and effective manner regarding individual on and off shore wind farm projects.
• ·         Working on a technical level with engineers and technical support in order to oversee the renewable energy project
• ·         Maintain a high standard in order to maintain the reputation of the company

Key Skills

• ·         This role require that the individual has very strong experience in working as a senior project manager in a renewable energy filed.
• ·         Experience in working on on and off shore wind farms preferably in a project manager capacity
• ·         An understanding of the renewable energy market and regulations
• ·         A background in engineering environmental science or related field in the renewable energy sector
• ·         Experience in liaising with a variety of clients and investors of the wind farm project

Desirable Attributes:

• ·         Exceptional report writing and communication skills
• ·         A solid background in managing teams and external clients
• ·         A keen interest in the wind farm industry and its affects with the UK market
• ·         Very strong problem solving skills
• ·         Highly organized
