Would you like to develop and construct offshore wind farms in the United Kingdom?

We are one of the leading energy companies in Europe within the fields of developing, constructing and operating offshore wind farms. We have more than 30 years of experience in wind energy, and up to 15 per cent of our power are produced from renewable resources. Our business is based on producing, distributing and trading energy and related products in Northern Europe.

We are also one of the leading developers of offshore wind in the United Kingdom. At present, two of our offshore wind farms are in operation, and further eight wind farm projects are being developed.

You will be part of an expanding team who is responsible for the development and execution of a large number of offshore projects in the United Kingdom. Your work assignments will focus both on the development phase and the execution phase of our offshore wind farm projects.

You will be based either in a project team office or in our office in Central London. You must expect a number of business travels to the North-western Europe - primarily to Denmark.

Areas of responsibility
You are the daily manager of our engineering team with 15 committed engineers and technicians.

In addition to that, your primary areas of responsibility are to:

  • manage our design basis, concept selection as well as tender preparation and evaluation
  • ensure that the team's deliverables are suitable considering cost and schedule
  • ensure the implementation of a proper planning and risk management as well as QA system
  • manage our resource acquisition in relation to our planned activities
  • ensure a high HSSE performance.

Your profile
The successful candidate will have an extensive working experience, ie more than five years within the field of offshore wind power or equivalent lines of business combined with a suitable high educational background. We also require that you have obtained the necessary management skills through appropriate courses and working experience.

It is essential that you are a team player and able to communicate well with colleagues and business partners at all organisational levels. You have a dynamic and professional approach to your job, and you are able to find constructive and practical solutions to both operational and technical challenges. In addition, you are a proactive team player willing to share your knowledge and expertise with your colleagues.
