Senior Project Manager, Colorado

My client is a leading solar developer with a reputation of inputting innovative project completion methods. They are looking to hire a senior project manager to manage a utility size solar PV ground project. The ideal candidate will have extensive construction experience ideally within the solar space or within the power generation space. The role requires high level of financial analytical skill so the ideal candidate will have profit and loss analysis experience as well as budget management experience.  The new staff member will be required to manage all day-to-day operations of the new project so the ideal candidate will have experience in leading the delivery of large complex projects from initial design, through the entitlement & permit process and finally through the construction phase. Extensive experience on commercial real estate is invaluable.

Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

• Interact with the engineering team to assure that design and design deliverables meet requirements for technical scope and quality.
• Create and manage project budgets.
• Conducts complex financial analysis including the preparation of complex reports
• Facilitate all client and key stakeholder meetings regarding the project
• Manage all features of the project design, construction and operational turnover
• Oversees all project teams working on project.

Requirements:

• Strong track record of successful project delivery at a real estate development firm, utility or construction management firm within the renewable energy space.
• 10+ years of experience in commercial real estate, with at least 7 years in a project management capacity within the solar sector.
• Ambitious individual who has a track record of rapid progression and is looking to advance into a senior management role.
• Bachelor's degree (BA or BSc) from four-year college or university preferably from and a minimum of 6 to 10 years of related experience
• The ability to communicate effectively both internally within the company and externally with clients and partners
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
