My client specializes in project financing and development of solar PV and investments. They were involved in the set up the largest Solar PV power plant at that particular time and have had a large impact in Europeans solar PV financing and developing. They are a international company who have offices in Germany, Italy and Spain and work international with a current focus on Europe.
Core criteria: They are currently looking for a senior project finance manager to be based in Berlin working on their Solar PV investments.
Responsibilities:
- You will work on project finance deals with a focus on solar PV in Germany, Czech republic, Spain and Italy
- Origination of project finance through equity and corporate sponsorship with the European market
- You will be required to lead negotiations and close deals with banks, equity firms and outside investors
- Source and scout sites within the renewable energy market in an attempt to determine the return from investment
- Work with outside agencies on the in order to develop appropriate contracts and legal material for the financing of the projects
- Utilising your skills in risk analysis within solar PV projects
- You will utilize your strong negotiation, financial modelling and contract skills in order to ensure the raising of equity for the renewable energy projects.
- Equity raising and project sale negotiations
- Project development, acquisition strategy and external advisors coordination
Education:
Must have strong finance or real estate background
Core Requirements:
- 3-5 years working on project finance or private equity in the renewable energy market
- · A proven track record of at least 3 successful projects taken through to competition
- Recent experience working in the Solar PV sector or other renewable energy projects
- Excellent ability in developing client relationships with the contacts within the financial industry
- Experience working on an international level
- · Excellent written and verbal German and English, any other language skills a bonus
- Critical assessment and due diligence of investment opportunities
- Good understanding of key tax issues with different deal structures is preferred

- Ability to work under deadline pressure and deliver high quality results
