My client is leading developer in the solar PV market, They invest, develop and construct large-scale solar PV projects across Europe. They are looking to recruit a senior project engineer to help lead a team design and manage construction of large-scale solar PV projects.
Core Criteria:
My client is looking to recruit a project engineer with an electrical engineering background and experience working on medium-large scale solar projects
Responsibilities:-
- · Carry out Site evaluation for PV projects
- · Carr out technical Due Diligence, study of solar resource, energy yield, technical evaluation of the main equipments, reviewing EPC and O&M Contracts
- · Perform site feasibility analysis for large PV systems to get it ready by fulfilling requirements as needed including soil’s report (when ground mounted), structural engineer stamped (roof, walls, racking, carport), and electrical engineer stamped
- · Perform detailed site evaluations for commercial project size including the use of surveyor equipment
- · Create system layout on roof mounted and ground mounted via AutoCAD and Satellite image site photos (i.e. Google Earth), survey data, and building’s as-builts ensuring accurate measurements
- · Provide monitoring system support for large-scale projects
- · Provided construction support during and post-project installation
- · Act as a technical advisor on EPC and O&M negotiations
Education:-
- · Must a strong technical background(electrical engineering degree preferred)
Core Requirements:-
- Minimum 3-5 years previous experience with strong technical background in the renewable energy industry
- Excellent problem solving skills with a track record of developing solutions
- · Experience performing site visits and working with electrical components
- · Experience in solar photovoltaic design for commercial grid tied and utility scale systems and a deep understanding of the German market
General Requirements:-
- · Ability to communicate across all levels of an organization
- Ability to work independently but within tightly controlled business policies
Key Skills:-
Solar PV, technical background, PV systems experience, electrical engineering degree, medium-large scale project experience and Fluency in German and a good level of spoken English
