World Wildlife Fund (WWF), the global conservation organization, seeks a Sr. Program Officer to join its climate change team to monitor and analyze US positions on international climate policy, as well as climate policies in key countries around the world that are advancing sound climate policy. The incumbent will also support the Director, International Climate Policy in internal and external communications and overall planning and management of the program.
A graduate degree in a relevant field or equivalent experiences is required. Position requires a minimum of six to twelve years of work experience in climate change, energy, environmental policy, economics, or other related field. Additional skills should include: strong analytical and communications skills (oral and written); proven ability to develop policy and work with decision makers. Team player and good interpersonal skills, especially with international colleagues. Excellent organizational and project management skills.
