My client is one of the biggest global manufacturers, specializing in manufacturing mono and polycrystalline silicon modules with a strong market presence in Europe, the USA and the Asia-Pacific regions with a very strong business plan and balance sheet. They seek a driven, highly-organized individual with great communication and leadership skills to join their team. The senior marketing manager will oversee the entire marketing operation in Europe and will be responsible for further developing and increasing this existing brand awareness and their bespoke service and the quality they offer in their modules.
Core Criteria: My client is seeking an experienced individual to lead their marketing efforts and increase their brand awareness across Europe.
Responsibilities:-
- · Manage the team members within the European marketing team
- · Managing the entire budget for marketing in Europe
- · Development of new customer offers, loyalty and local brand awareness programs, working closely with the product marketing managers and global brand managers
- · Development of product USP's and communication tools
- · Increase brand recognition among consumers
- · Develop product strategy definition, marketing requirements analysis, and pricing
- · Conduct relevant market research, monitors competitive activity, and identify customer needs
- · Establish product-specific strategic positioning strategies
- · Interact with engineering, manufacturing and sales to enhance the competitiveness of existing product
- · Prepare and coordinate marketing support programs and product launches
- · Aid with planning and creation of advertising and promotional materials
- · Make presentations to customers
- · Development and implementation of measurable success factor deliverables for marketing campaigns, and marketing actions
- · This position will work very closely with the EU sales team, global brand / marketing research and product marketing teams
Education:-
- Must have strong educational background in business administration or marketing discipline
Core Requirements:-
- You will have at least 5 years of marketing experience, with an excellent track record in the solar photovoltaic (PV), business development experience also a plus
- · Excellent problem solving skills
- · Proven track success in developing distinguishing offers in very competitive market environment
- · Good understanding of regulatory requirements in the European solar industry
- · Ability to work under deadline pressure and deliver high quality results
- · Proven track record in solar business development and growth
General Requirements:-
- · Good MS Office skills (excellent Excel skills).
- Willing to travel
- · Proven ability to communicate across all levels of an organization
- · Ability to manage multiple projects
- Good time management skills and multi-tasking skills
