The Carbon Trust’s Policy and Markets team provides cutting edge advice to governments and policy-related institutions around the world and informs the direction of low carbon markets, helping to accelerate the transition to a low carbon economy. We work with decision makers and implementers in the key bodies in the UK and in emerging economies to help them develop the best policies and programmes to achieve their objectives. We are looking for an individual to join the team as a Senior Manager to lead the development of a new practice area focussed on the delivery of large-scale international technical assistance programmes in the fields of low carbon development and sustainable energy. The successful candidate will have strong programme management, business development and analytical skills with significant, recent experience working for a major multilateral or national donor and/or a consultancy delivering technical assistance programmes.
