An Independent Consultancy specialising in “Environmental Consultancy” seeks a Senior Manager, to develop resources, services and best-practice processes related to marine EIA’s and consenting for major infrastructure development projects. Reporting to the Director of Services, principal tasks will include management projects from proposal to invoicing, liaising with clients to identify and agree all technical and commercial requirements, ensuring project is delivered to highest level of client satisfaction, preparation of reports, briefing notes, and other technical deliverables, contributing to securing significant new business, the development of new ‘best practice’ in service delivery. Use of technical expertise, provision of technical and commercial coaching for junior colleagues and line management to the Environmental Assurance Team. You will monitor performance, and contribute to the growth of the Environmental Assurance Team by attracting and retaining new candidates. An oil and gas industry professional, with specific environmental expertise in the UKCS marine and coastal areas, who has the ability/experience to manage environmental projects, risk assessment and who wishes to be part of a growing environmental consultancy. You will select and manage multi-disciplined teams, for a range of projects such as Marine EIA, Environmental Statements and Petroleum Operations Notices, Baseline Surveys, Oil Pollution Emergency Plans, Environmental Risk Identification (ENVIDs), PPC and OPPC applications.
