Senior Investment Manager, Frankfurt, Germany

My client is a is a global alternative asset management firm, specializing in private equity. Their business focuses on buyout capital, growth capital, real estate, and leveraged finance investments. They have offices in the Americas, Europe, Asia, and Australia. They are now looking to bring on  an investment manager to join their team Frankfurt

Core criteria: They are currently looking for a senior investment manager to be based in Germany working on their renewable energy investments.

ResponsibilitiesL:

• Origination of project finance through equity and corporate sponsorship with the European market
• You will be required to lead negotiations and close deals with banks, equity firms and outside investors
• Source and scout sites within the renewable energy market in an attempt to determine the return from investment
• Work with outside agencies on the in order to develop appropriate contracts and legal material for the financing of the projects
• Utilising your skills in risk analysis within solar and wind projects
• You will utilize your strong negotiation, financial modelling and contract skills in order to ensure the raising of equity for the renewable energy projects.
• Equity raising and project sale negotiations
• Project development, acquisition strategy and external advisors coordination

Education:

• ·         Must have strong finance background

Core Requirements:

• 4-8 years working on project finance or private equity in the renewable energy market
• Recent experience working in the Solar and Wind sector
• Excellent ability in developing client relationships with the contacts within the financial industry
• Experience working on an international level
• Critical assessment and due diligence of investment opportunities
• Good understanding of key tax issues with different deal structures is preferred

• Ability to communicate across all levels of an organization
• Ability to work under deadline pressure and deliver high quality results
• Excellent presentation

Key skills:

Renewable energy, strong finance background, large-scale PV and Wind projects, team leadership and a good experience in project financing.
