World Wildlife Fund (WWF), the world’s leading conservation organization, seeks a Senior Financial Analyst to provide high-level reporting and analytical support to the Manager of Reporting and Analysis, Director of Finance and other members of the Financial Operations team. S/He is responsible for internal and external financial reporting, analyzing financial performance, and reporting to senior management. The Sr. Financial Analyst oversees the joint costing of membership expense between public education and fundraising and peer group comparative analysis and trains financial managers across the organization on how to access and evaluate financial reports.
A Bachelor’s degree, preferably in accounting or finance, and a minimum of 6 years related experience required. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical, multi-tasking and detail orientation skills, the ability to communicate complex information effectively and the ability to work well in pressured situations with a high degree of initiative and flexibility to accommodate deadlines is a must. Fluency in computer applications, including demonstrated proficiency in advanced use of Oracle, ADI, Hyperion Reports, Excel, Word and Powerpoint is preferred.
