This post is essential for the functioning of the team, with the post holder required to manage the delivery of the large Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) reports required for future projects, oversee the running of the ISO 14001 Environmental Management System and the management of Antarctic wastes. Other technical responsibilities include provision of environmental training and preparation of oil spill response contingency plans. The post holder will also be required to line manage staff. We are looking for a suitably experienced and organised individual, with a flexible approach to their workload. The post holder will need to be capable of managing projects and staff. Good communication and numerical skills are vital for this role.
