Environmental Senior Biologist / Practice Group Leader

Sequence is seeking a senior level Biologist who will have responsibilities of leading business development and client relationship activities, as well as project management and technical direction to a variety of environmental compliance projects throughout Florida.

The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of experience overseeing projects and providing technical guidance on various NEPA and Florida Department of Environmental Protection (FDEP) compliance documentation. This includes overseeing research, data collection, field surveys, habitat assessment reports, schedules and scopes of work, training and client relations. Must have experience with Chapter 62-4 of the Florida Administrative Code and Sections 401, 402, and 404 of the Clean Water Act, threatened and endangered species regulations, and field mapping experience using advanced GPS equipment and digital cartographic skills.

Requires a degree in Biology or a related discipline. Previous experience in NEPA and FDEP compliance. Excellent project management, staff mentoring and written/verbal communication skills.
