Role Summary/Purpose:
In the role of Senior Engineer, you will:
Essential Responsibilities
- Be responsible for design and development of 1.X family (1.5-2 MW) wind turbine main gearboxes - Provide mentoring and leadership to design engineers on the team - Be responsible for design and development of gearbox and parts from launch through field life: drawings, specs, cost, testing, resolution of manufacturing and field issues - Work with GRC and ATO to support development of technology roadmaps for gearboxes
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or other technical discipline - Minimum of 10 years experience in bearings, sumps or gearbox design, strong leadership and communication skills

- Green Belt certified (GE employees only)
