Job description
Our Coastal & Rivers team in Birmigham is looking to recruit a Senior Engineer to provide technical, managerial and marketing support as required. Key duties are as follows: Provide technical direction and mentoring to graduates and engineers. Manage large and complex projects, delivering them to clients on time and to budget. Provide assistance with marketing of Company and Team services, including the preparation of proposals and business planning. Deputise for Team Leader as required. Provide technical inputs to a range of river, estuary and coastal projects, including (but not limited to):
River hydrology/hydraulics or tidal/coastal process studies.
Your qualifications and experience
Experience in river or coastal engineering;
Bachelors or Masters Degree in Civil Engineering;
Chartered Engineer via MICE or CIWEM (will consider candidates approaching CEng status if have necessary experience);
Awareness of civil engineering industry procedures and best practice;
Previous project management experience;
Good commercial understanding.
