Our London City office is recruiting a Senior Energy Consultant to support our existing
team in the following areas: The production of non-domestic Energy Performance Certificates. This will entail carrying out technical assessments of the energy performance of new buildings. The production of Energy Feasibility Studies/Energy Strategies. These now form an important part of the planning process and demonstrate to local authorities how a development will meets its renewable/carbon targets. As we are recruiting at Senior Consultant level an important element of this job is the mentoring of junior staff and the provision of expert advice on sustainability projects. Longer term there will be an opportunity to peer review technical reports. Typically you will be working on clients sites one or two days a week. You should have a sound technical knowledge of M&E, excellent written and verbal communication skills and ideally have a working knowledge of CAD. Knowledge of renewables and carbon is important as is a working knowledge of the UK planning system. |
