Senior Electrical Engineer - Power Transformers

My client is one of the largest global developers with an outstanding reputation for excellence. They develop, construct and operate large scale offshore wind farms.

Position Overview:

The successful candidate will be responsible for working to strengthen the design and power systems analysis team.

Responsibilities:

• Taking a leading role in design reviews
• Use you specialist knowledge to support in power generation transformers
• Take a leading role in carrying out investigations into transformer operational failures
• Conduct quality audits,  compile reports and review specifications
• Take a leading role in the manufacturing, testing and commissioning of transformers

Education:

Strong degree in electrical engineering

Core Requirements:-

• Experience of power transformers
• In depth understanding of substation HV electrical plant
• Understanding of the basic principles of transformer design

General Requirements:

• Excellent written and communicational skills
• Fluent in English
• Proficient user of Microsoft applications
