Due to continuing strong growth across our Environmental business, our NSW/ACT Ecology group in Sydney is looking for dedicated, enthusiastic Ecologists. We have two positions available, a Senior Consultant and a Consultant - both in the Ecology/ Botany field.  
 
Both Positions will be responsible for providing high quality ecological assessments and advice throughout the NSW/ACT region to a range of clients, including state and local government authorities and private clients. Working both autonomously and with your Ecology team and other stakeholders, you will also be able to conduct general business development activities and work on multiple projects concurrently.
 
You will bring your:
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in Botany
  • Previous experience in a consulting environment
  • Working knowledge of environmental legislation including the Threatened Species Conservation Act and Environment Protection and Biodiversity Conservation Act.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage ecological projects (including undertaking field based ecological surveys and preparing assessment reports).  
  • Experience in Botanical surveys in NSW as well as experience in identifying threatened plant species
