If you are a seasoned HR professional with deep experience in the development and implementation of systems, benefits and compensation programs, then maybe this position is for you. 

The incumbent will lead the HR Programs team, which is responsible for developing and managing CI’s global compensation and US benefits programs (and provides support to the international benefits programs); and the Human Resources information systems that support the effectiveness of these and other HR programs.  S/he will provide intellectual leadership in conceiving, designing, developing and implementing appropriate HR systems and process solutions.  The incumbent will also lead the development and reporting on HR business metrics and indicators.  S/he will serve as project manager for organization wide initiatives such as performance appraisal and merit; open enrollment and various rewards and recognition programs. 

The Senior Director will ensure that the benefit and compensation programs are developed to maximize employee engagement and reflect best practices and will manage them in a way to comply with external laws and regulations and to control costs.  S/he will increase efficiency by ensuring the implementation of systems with the best fit and return on investment for CI. 

The Senior Director is a member of the HR and the Global Operations Management Teams. S/he will work with and support other team members in the development and implementation of policies, processes and programs that support and enhance the individual and collective contributions needed for Conservation International to succeed. 

The Senior Director is supervised by the SVP for Global Operations and supervises a staff of 3 to 4 HR professionals.
