Our client’s environmental team has expanded rapidly over the past few years.  It is now seeking a contaminated land professional to provide expertise within its advice and business groups.  This is a superb opportunity for you to develop your skills and to advance technically within the company.
Your principal focus will be to lead the contaminated land team as well as developing and marketing skills and resources as appropriate.  This will involve a contribution to project work (UK and overseas), to include report writing, field work supervision, organisation, consultation and project management.  You will be expected to remain up to date with policy and legislative developments.  Presenting in both external and internal arenas, you will also be required to conduct business development and proposal writing as appropriate.
Your experience will lie in environmental consultancy/regulation or a related discipline with a preferential emphasis on the contaminated land environment.  Knowledge of the environmental market and a proven ability to foster and win new projects is essential including proven experience of coordinating multidisciplinary teams.  You will be able to demonstrate a good knowledge and experience of the regulatory and legislative system, with experience in project managing medium to large projects.  You should also possess experience of business development.  A minimum BSc qualification in a relevant environmental science is required, along with membership of a Chartered Institute.
A competitive salary is offered with this role plus a range of benefits.  Our client has also recently become a Sunday Times Best 100 Companies to work for.  If you would like the opportunity to work for this excellent employer and you feel this role matches your skills and experience, please contact Evergreen Resources now!
