Description
To organise, carry out and complete a major single research project on biodiversity delivery of Welsh Agri-environment Schemes on behalf of the Welsh Assembly Government: including devising and executing programmes of field evaluation, data analysis, production of published papers and advisory materials, liaison with Welsh Assembly Government and partner organisations, public presentation of project outputs both within and outside RSPB, and archiving of data sets. To provide scientific support to staff at Cardiff office. Applicants require: PhD in ornithology/ecology or equivalent experience; experience of ecological research, data analysis, publishing and large project management; knowledge of advanced statistics, GIS, agri-environment policy and ability to communicate and work effectively with others.
