Description

My client is a major division within  one of the largest global environmental services companies across a variety of sectors. They aim to provide clients with the highest standard of performance with a specific focus on the safety and quality of its  services. This role is in the water management division and will require the business development of essential services in the water market. This is a national position and the right candidate would be working across the country, but could be based in a variety of locations.

Key Responsibilities

  • ·         Develop business development and business management strategies and implement them when necessary in order to secure water projects.
  • ·         Working to develop relationships internally and externally and analyse the criteria of the client’s needs in order to expand the business throughout the UK
  • ·         Travelling and meeting with new and existing clients in an attempt to secure business and expand the company wealth
  • ·         Negotiate terms and conditions in the closing process
  • ·         Generating leads for future projects in an attempt to secure future water projects for the company
  • ·         Work within the revenue expectations and standard of the company, and work with Directors in order to assess the current sales forecasts
  • ·         Report appropriately to line manager in order to prioritize leads and clients

 

Key Skills

  • ·         A proven record of exceptional business development experience in a transferable sector
  • ·         10+ years experience in a business development role ideally with some experience in renewable energy, water quality or waste water.
  • ·         An understanding or the wastewater and water quality operations within the UK.
  • ·         Experience with cold calling, liaising with clients and outsourcing in a business development role.
  • ·         Experience working with a technical and support team in a business developer role.
  • ·         Must have exceptional English verbal and written and have experience working in a business development role in English.

  • ·         A strong desire to work to the highest quality and standards in order to maintain the reputation of the company
  • ·         Highly organised with a proven ability to project manage where necessary
