Our established Ecology team in Perth is seeking to recruit a Senior Botanist (5 plus years) and a Botanist (3-5 years).  You will be working with a team of highly experienced Ecologists, Botanists and Environmental Scientists.
Primarily, your role will involve;
  • Organise and follow through ecological survey reports from conception to final report
  • Flora and vegetation identification
  • Preparing maps and plans
  • Report writing and peer review
 Specific skills and knowledge
  • Bachelor of Science (or equivalent degree/experience) with field experience and plant identification skills
  • Pilbara/ Kimberley experience highly desirable
  • Understanding and working knowledge of current WA environmental legislation and clearing permit requirements
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills - both oral and written
  • Team player, cooperative with other staff with a demonstrated commitment to sharing of information and knowledge
  • Self-motivated and able to work under limited supervision
  • Able to spend up to 2 weeks in the field at any one time.
