World Wildlife Fund (WWF), the global conservation organization, seeks a Sr. Administrative Assistant in its Northern Great Plains field office in Bozeman, Montana. The Sr. Administrative Assistant is responsible for coordinating office administration, and assisting the Managing Director, Deputy Director, Finance Administrator, Strategic Resources Senior Specialist and other staff as needed. This position works with independent judgment to ensure administrative information is well organized, deadlines are met, and problems or inconsistencies are raised and addressed.
The Sr. Administrative Assistant will support the Managing Director and Deputy Director in scheduling travel, processing credit card statements, and supporting organizational tasks. Key duties also include preparation of communications materials and reports, preparing for events, assisting on special projects and tasks, and performing a variety of standard and frequently complex administrative duties and responsibilities to ensure the smooth functioning of the office and schedules. This person will interact regularly with WWF headquarters personnel in Washington, DC.
A high school diploma or equivalent is required. Five years of demonstrated and progressively responsible experience in an administrative assistant or secretarial position. A bachelor’s degree may be substituted for 3 years of experience. Candidates must be highly organized, exceptionally detailed oriented, able to manage and prioritize multiple tasks, competent with computers, and able to maintain a positive attitude in a dynamic environment. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel is required. The ideal candidate will also have a can-do attitude, as well as strong writing, communication and interpersonal skills.
