Stockholm Environment Institute (SEI) Oxford seeks RESEARCH PROJECT MANAGER to support ongoing research projects into climate change and sustainable development.

The postholder will be responsible for coordinating research project specifications and outputs at SEI Oxford. As the primary link between the Centre Director, the members of the research team and project funding bodies on all research-related matters, the postholder will:

(a) administer project budgets and documentation in order to maintain records of costs, resources and time scales, working closely with the bookkeeper in tracking project costings and expenditure;

(b) participate in Team meetings and assist in the preparation of research reports and new research grant applications;

(c) oversee project-related contractual and HR issues and, assist in maintaining web-based project information.

Applicants should be educated to degree level or have relevant experience in a project management setting. They should be able to work creatively as part of a dynamic team, to communicate effectively, adopt a methodical approach to their work with an ability to prioritise, have good numeracy and IT skills and, possess a good command of written and spoken English.

Anticipated starting salary of £24,000 p.a., but commensurate with experience.
