Provision of scientific and technical assistance in the organisation and management of the peer review of residue risk assessment and/or of proposals for Maximum Residue Levels (MRLs) for new and existing active substances used in plant protection products as well as assistance in the preparation of annual reports on pesticide residues as provided for in Regulation (EC) No 396/2005 of the Parliament and the Council.
